I am excited to spend the year with you and your family!  I would like to introduce myself and my family. I am originally from Herington, Kansas. I graduated from Herington High School and continued my education at Emporia State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.  This is my 27th year of teaching.  I taught 9 year in Osawatomie, KS teaching fourth.  After returning to Herington I taught three years of Kindergarten and the remainder has been spent at the fourth grade level. I have been married for 29 years to Gary and we have three grown children; Zachary, Nathan and Taylor.
